Dartboard Surrounds

Dartboard surrounds are really useful because they fit around your dartboard, and protect your wall from any stray darts that happen to miss their target.

Dartboard surrounds are really useful because they fit around your dartboard, and protect your wall from any stray darts that happen to miss their target.

Of course professional darts players never miss the board, but amateur players, such as myself, can often miss the board completely when aiming for a double.

This is why my own 4-year old Unicorn surround (pictured left) contains quite a few holes.

These products come in a variety of different colours and designs these days, so I thought it was worth picking out some of the most popular dartboard surrounds (in the UK) and featuring them on this page.

Buy dartboard surrounds in the UK (and US)

If you would like to buy dartboard surrounds in the UK, you can find lots of different designs here at Amazon.co.uk, and you can also buy them here from Amazon.com if you live in the United States.

Black winmau dartboard surround – TOP SELLER

The most popular dartboard surround is this one from Winmau, one of the leading manufacturers of darts equipment.

This black surround is suitable for any of Winmau’s bristle dartboards, and is one that many customers are extremely happy with.

To demonstrate this point, if you check out the 27 customer reviews on Amazon, you will see that 22 people gave it 5 stars out of 5, whilst the other 5 people gave it 4 stars out of 5 (at the time of writing).

Unicorn dartboard surround – ANOTHER EXCELLENT CHOICE

Another of the top-sellers is this Unicorn Striker Dartboard Surround, which is a little more expensive, but is just as effective at protecting your wall.

This is available in black and a few other colours (as you can see from the photograph to the right).

I myself own the red version, as I mentioned earlier, and I have had no problems whatsoever. You simply slide it over your dartboard, and it will then stay firmly in place.

If you do happen to miss the board, the darts will always stick in this surround, and the holes generally cover themselves up once you remove your dart.
